Why Lifepo4 instead of traditional Lead Acid batteries?
Lifepo4 batteries have a higher energy density and cycle life than traditional lead acid batteries. They are widely used in electric vehicles, solar systems and other applications where weight and space are important considerations. The cycle life of the lifepo4 batteries is more than 4000 cycles in comparison to lead acid batteries which have a cycle life of only 500-1000 cycles.
Our lithium batteries are made with the best lifepo4 cells and offer a longer lifespan and higher capacity than most batteries on the market. If you need a reliable, long-lasting battery for your solar system or backup power system, lifepo4 batteries are a great option.
Main Advantages
Expandable Capacity and Voltage
12V LiFePO4 batteries support series and parallel. Up to 4 batteries in series or up to 4 in parallel for 12V, 24V, 36V and 48V systems. 24V and 48V lithium batteries only support parallel up to 4 units.
Light Weight
Not only are elker batteries 3 times lighter than traditional lead-acid batteries with the same capacity, but they also require no maintenance whatsoever. You can just install them and forget about them. An additional carrying strap is provided that will make it easy to carry it around.
BMS Protection
All of Elker® lithium batteries come with a built-in smart battery management system protects against high temperature, over-discharge, over-recharge and short-circuits.
More Usable Capacity
Sealed lead-acid batteries can only supply 50% of the available energy, while lithium LiFePO4 batteries can supply up to 100%. That means you can fully discharge the battery and cycle it thousands of times.
Long Cycle Life
More than 3000 cycles at a depth of discharge of 100%, 3,500 cycles at 80% and 5,500 cycles at 50%. The recommended DOD is 80%. All of our LiFePO4 batteries are backed up with Elker’s 3-year warranty.
LED Voltage Indicator
Apart from 48v, all of our standard line batteries have LED indicators that make it much easier to check the Voltage. It shows the battery’s voltage and SOC (state of charge).
FAQ
Does the charger come together with the battery?
No, you have to buy the charger separately.
Can i connect the 12v batteries in series to form a 48v battery?
Yes, you can connect up to 4x 12V liFePO4 batteries, or 2x 24v in series to make a 48v battery pack. Note: 12v 50ah batteries can only be wired in parallel and cannot be connected in series.
Can i return the battery if my system does not support it?
We gladly accept returns within 30 days of receipt for most items in new condition. If an item is new, unused, and in the original packaging, we are happy to accept a return up to 30 days from the original invoice date with no restocking fee
Why LiFePO4 and not regular li-ion?
LiFePO4 batteries have a much higher cycle life of 3000+ cycles compared to 600 cycles to other li-ion batteries. Another big advantage is safety as there is no risk of explosion or fire.
Does the bms have a balancing function?
Yes, the BMS does have a balancing function and it will keep the cells balanced.
Why does the voltage drop from 14.4v to 13.6v when i stop charging it?
13.6v is the resting voltage of Lithium cells. The battery at 13.6v is still 100% charged. It is totally normal.
Does it have a Bluetooth conncection?
We also sell batteries with Bluetooth connectivity. Please check our products.
Can the battery handle high start-up current rush for older machines and devices?
Yes, it does handle high current for 3s. Please check the specifications for each battery to check the high in-rush current supported.
What kind of cells are inside your batteries?
Our batteries are built with Grade A prismatic cells. That makes the failure rate much lower than the batteries built with cylindrical cells, because we use fewer, but larger cells.
Can we use your 36v 50Ah battery to power our boat trolling motor?
Yes, it can be used for powering trolling motors. Check the specifications of our battery and the power output of your trolling motor.
I would like to replace my lead acid battery with your lithium iron phosphate battery in my vehicle. I want to use it for starting up my vehicle. Can it be used that way?
No, our batteries are not meant to start up the vehicle. The current is too high so the BMS will cut it off to protect the battery.

Works as described, measured capacity is 210ah and the handles and cable lugs were included in the package. These batteries are a space saver compared to my previous AGM batteries that died after 200 cycles. 10/10

I bought this battery 12v 200 amp last year. I had a minor issue with the led indicator but that was fixed so everything works great and it holds the power for a long time. I do not have to worry about constant system shutdown like with my previous sealed lead acid akku. This one performs well. Recommend
